Just another day in the life of Dawson City, January 2009, where the Klondike empties into the Yukon River. On this January day 2009 the weather is the same as January 1898 when the Klondike Gold Rush was in full swing. Overlooking Dawson it was -50 C something, and my thermometer bottomed out... downtown where the dense cold air and the ice-fog mix it was near 60 below... hope you enjoy the pictures!
